On the morning of April 8, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and leaders of ministries and branches worked online with Dong Nai province to discuss solutions to promote a number of socio-economic projects, especially site clearance (GPMB) for Long Thanh airport project.
Presiding at the meeting at Dong Nai bridge point include Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Phu Cuong and Chairman of Cao Tien Dung Province.
According to Dong Nai province's report, on the project of land acquisition, compensation, support, and resettlement of Long Thanh airport, the province focused on prioritizing site clearance of 1.8 thousand hectares to hand over to investors in 2020. The province has completed the tally of 1,028 households in the area of 1.8 thousand ha, reaching 100%. The province is hiring a consultancy unit to determine the specific land price for compensation, expected to be completed in early April 2020, approving the compensation plan and payment for households completed in the second quarter of 2020.
Regarding the capital sources for implementing the project of land acquisition, compensation, support and resettlement, the total capital that the Government has allocated to Dong Nai is more than VND 17,000 billion. Up to now, Dong Nai has disbursed nearly 1,200 billion sources of capital according to the budget investment plan (reaching more than 10% of the assigned estimate). Dong Nai confirmed its commitment to disburse this capital in 2020.
On this occasion, the province proposed recommendations for a number of traffic connection projects such as Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay highway projects, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, Ben Luc - Long highway.
Concluding the meeting, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said that Dong Nai is located in the southern key economic zone, a province with large economic scale, large population, diverse development, and a province with many industrial parks. and is one of the first two provinces of the country to complete new rural construction. The Prime Minister asked Dong Nai to focus on site clearance for Long Thanh airport project, trying to disburse more than 17,000 billion dong this year. The ministries and branches must shake hands to assist Dong Nai in speeding up the implementation.
Regarding traffic connection, the Prime Minister also assigned the Government Office to assume the prime responsibility with the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Finance and Dong Nai province, especially the Ministry of Transport, to consider each project in detail and report it to the Prime Minister.
